It’s time to start swotting up on your general knowledge as entries are now open for the annual Dransfields CIU National Quiz.
As the Club and Institute Union’s preferred supplier of gaming machines, we are delighted to be once again sponsoring the Dransfields CIU National Quiz, indisputably one of the most prestigious and competitive quiz competitions held in the country.
We are looking for teams of four to take part in this highly enjoyable and competitive event, now in its 16th year. Over the years the quiz has played host to some of the country’s top quizzers, many of whom have gone on to feature in top TV quiz shows, so you never know where taking part might lead you.
First prize in the quiz is £500 with many additional spot prizes on offer throughout the heats, so it’s well worth getting a team together. Of course for some teams it’s all about the glory of challenging for the title, while others are simply in it for the enjoyment of taking part.
The competition will feature a series of regional heats before the prestigious final, which will be held once again in Blackpool as part of the CIU annual conference weekend.
To enter, just download an entry form from our homepage and post it back to the event organisers along with your entry fee. You will need to make sure that all of your team members are CIU members or members of a CIU Social Club, and hold an Associate Pass Card.
The deadline for entries to be received by the organisers is February 28th 2016.
