We know we’re into a new year when the gaming and amusement machines exhibition season rolls around once again.
The first exhibition we visited this year was the EAG International Show, held at the Excel London Exhibition Centre. Billed as the amusement and leisure show, it’s always quite an event.
As usual we enjoyed our visit, and it was good to see some familiar faces and catch up with a few of our customers. We were also expecting to see some interesting products, and with plenty of the latest and emerging industry trends on show, we weren’t disappointed.
We were scouring the event for innovations and new ideas, and to make sure we’re still leading the market with the range of gaming machines that we offer to pubs, clubs and other venues. We were also looking to see what suppliers of jukeboxes, pool tables, and family entertainment machines all had to offer, to ensure that our products are still best-in-class.
Although the show didn’t seem as big as in previous years, there was still plenty to see, with 130 exhibitors from over 60 countries demonstrating everything from coffee machines and coin sorters, to digital compendium gaming machines, and software solutions for machine operators.
The most interesting development was the increased selection of digital gaming machines, in response to market forces, and there may well be some new arrivals for Dransfields customers to choose from soon.
