Dransfields CIU National Charity Raceday 2025

What a day we had with clubs from all over the country getting together for a great day of racing at Doncaster on Saturday 29 November.
Not even the wet weather could dampen spirits with many of the top trainers, jockeys and horses attending the event for a programme of highly competitive races throughout the afternoon.
The Dransfields CIU National Charity Handicap Hurdle had seven runners taking part in the 2 mile race. Jockey Richard Patrick rode the 2-1 favourite ‘Le Yacht’ to the winning post well ahead of the runner-up Paramount.
Another memorable event which Dransfields were pleased to sponsor to help with raising funds for a great cause - the CIU Education programme that enables CIU club officials to gain a grounding in the skills associated with running a club.
