A grand day out at Park Avenue

The beginning of this month saw us attending the annual Park Avenue Open Day event in London – which has been taking place for almost 30 years now.
The event is jointly hosted by Electrocoin and UDC, who put on a fantastic day for the coin-op industry. It was really interesting to hear how suppliers are getting on; to see their innovative ideas and new machines that are coming to market, or are already available and gaining popularity with players. There were lots of hands-on opportunities to test these new machines, and to gauge for ourselves those we think our customers will enjoy.
The event covered a range of sectors within the coin-op and gaming machine industries, so there really was something for everyone. The focus of the event is less about the hard sell and more about networking, it’s unusual in that regard, but very valuable. We heard lots of interesting ideas and spent useful time with some familiar faces!
The fantastic sunshine and peerless Greek barbecue definitely added to the occasion; we’ll certainly be back next year.
